how do i become more of a social butterfly irl? i went to a family party yesterday, and i felt pretty stupid sitting around, doing nothing because i pretty much almost everyone there for the third or fourth time. i did talk with some people, but only the ones i knew + said hi and/or bye to the majority of them. i need advice plsplsplspls

compliment them the best way to start a friendship or ask them where something is to get into the convo!

Sometimes it works to go up to randos who are solo and be like 'hey how are you doing nice party right, Who do you know here?' Then if you know someone in common you can then chat in a circle together and it makes it easier lol
If you dont know them then ask em how they know eachother, just basically pump out questions!
