Can someone tell me why people feel the need to make bait accounts

I'd like either a professional to tell me or the people behind these accounts to tell me themselves because it seems stupid and pointless, other than to be annoying and it's impolite and disgusting! Im honestly disturbed how people think that it's funny to do this stuff, your ruining your child hood. Your like the teenagers or Twitter who go around harassing people on the streets for views, no one thinks your cool funny or popular, they think you're pathetic. Because you're RUINING your future adulthood. LI could care less if you take my advice and stop, but this isn't going to affect me or anyone else. It's only hurting you. I don't think people realize what they do online can be used against you in a real life setting. Most jobs care about what you do online, so I'd be more wise if I where you.
