I want to start a band. But the problem is that I'm only good at singing, and have never really learned to play the guitar, and my parents don't have the budget to buy one for me, and they keep telling me the guitar is too hard to play. Not to mention, I don't really know anyone who knows how to play the guitar in my school. Any thoughts on this?
Want to start a band someday.

go to some local shows and beg and plead with the bands to help out or something,... or just ask local bands if they have extra gear

ask your school if theyd put some funds into a music room, thats what i did back when i was in school. they did what they could and we had use to a piano every so often so its worth a shot
also look into lending libraries or other places that lend instruments
There is already a music room, but we can't access it.
