Recently a teacher from my school was fired, let me tell you the story. *Just to note most people were misgendering them constantly so just know that I will be using they/them for them even when saying what others said because I think any less would be wrong.* 

Their name is Mx Fletcher, they were a nonbinary high school teacher in the red state that I live in. I never had a class with because they taught Spanish which I don't take, but they subbed in my math class one time and seemed really nice. I'd seen them in the hallway plenty of times and heard snickers from homophobic students but nothing much. That was until about the beginning of march. Everyone started saying they were a pornstar. 

People were talking about photos they'd seen but I hadn't seen any yet, some of my older friends got their hands on them but said I was too young (I'm less than 2 years younger than these people). To my surprise an account named "asdk12gossipbackup" started following me that weekend on instagram. I looked at their posts and it was just 2 shirtless pictures and 1 in a crop top, which was tamer then everyone was acting like it would be. 

This account kept posting updates such as a story of a screen shot from a video on onlyfans with Mx Fletchers girlfriend sitting on their face. This account sought out their onlyfans in order to buy content from then with the intent of getting them fired.

Other posts included a video where the teacher had a visible boner in class, their dead name, shaming them for dating a sex worker, and the captions and comments under these posts were dehumanizing and hard to read.

The school at this time was a weird environment to be in, people were really letting everyone know just how much they hated trans people. Even a teacher of mine misgendered them and said she was disappointed. The school sent out emails, and kids ranted to the their parents. Local news talked about how they called themselves a themsbian or a pokemon lover, of course people who lived thousands of miles away couldn't stay out of it either, the twitter account "Libsoftiktok" reposted something and an TikTok account 'queers against groomers" made a video sending so much more hate their way, it was all so much.

Now there's a new long term sub for Spanish and the only time people bring it up is to make fun of other trans people or when they say they were snapping students. *Everything here has had proof except for the snapping students, I heard it once and the account that has been so on top of throwing more dirt on Mx Fletchers name has been quiet.* "asdk12gossipbackup" said they want to go after another teacher next but nothing so far, I've heard teachers and students alike being quiet on teachers mental health issues and other topics they used to be vocal about, because they are afraid to get fired or get a teacher they like fired now that they know people wont let them separate their personal life from their professional one.

I'm so disappointed in so called allies and even other queer people who throughout all of this just pointed, laughed and missgendered them with everyone else.
