My barber done messed me up 😔

I have a Ramon flowers cut (or tomboyish side tails) w a short back and layers above the side tails. The lady who did it did a wonderful job the first time. About 3 or 4 months later, I went back. (This was yesterday). It had grown out into a sort of mullet so I wanted it cut. 

When I went in, I initially felt a bit scared. I didn't want it messed up. I didn't have time for my hair to settle afterwards, it was a Wednesday, of course I wanted to look decent for school. My mom had already paid so I was like "ight, u live n u learn". 

She sat me down, a different woman did a quick wash, and then she sat me and blow dried my hair straight. Then, I described that I wanted just a trim in the back. Nothing else, just a trim. She then proceeded to cut more layers into my hair on the top of my head without my permission or further notice. I was like "okay odd but it's fine i guess". If it were in the back I wouldn't really care, but this was the front, not the back. I just ignored it and then she started cutting the back. Cool, right? Wrong. She cut the back of my hair into a sort of upside down v shape. I didn't want any back hark to be visible from the front. God forbid a barber listens to their customer 😒. Then, she added more 'texture' my hair (my hair is already extremely textured). I would have asked for it shorter but i was her last customer of the day and my mom was rushing me a bit, not to mention that she had cut some of the hair while wet, so it just looked a bit longer. 

We just left when it was done, but my mom and I both agreed that it was NOT worth the $65 dollars, and truly we could have cut my hair at home for free. So, that's what I inevitably ended up doing last night (the first half of this blog was written a day ago so the times are odd, 😞 sorry)

I cut it rlly short with a razor. I think I'm gonna look back over it again tonight and shave some more off.
