I wanted to post something as my first blog, but I didn't know what so I thought I'd share something short from my journal that will hopefully make others feel at least a little bit more loved :)

You will never know how much you're truly loved. And I guess it's better that way, some love is meant to be kept hidden, unknown by the receiver. The loved one doesn't always know the admiration of the lover, but that doesn't mean that it's not there. There are so many things people do that you'll never be aware of; The look someone gives you when you're not aware. The things that remind them of you. The songs they've dedicated to you. The dreams they've had of you. The amount of times you've been thought of before going to sleep, or just after waking up. People's thoughts of you, of the things you do, the things they admire about you, and the way you make them feel. The things you'll never be told. The love you'll never know.

It's kind of insane when you take a step back and think about, like everyone has all these thoughts every single day and very few are shared with the world.
I honestly think that's what makes it so beautiful! It makes the love of that person feel more intimate in a way? I mean, not all thoughts have to be made public, we act upon thoughts we have without necessarily saying them as they are all the time! This is kind of the same, people won't always express their admiration explicitly, but it's good to remember that it's there.
