chewsday innit

last night i was working on making my own layout cuz i wanted to finally learn and its hard but actually fun figuring it out. i’ve wanted to learn stuff like this for so many years but i grew up super sheltered and basically was scolded or told no if i had any interests (my mom only supported my art for some reason), so i never tried. but last night i did!! i’m proud i’m trying something new i don’t do that often these days.

i’m bad with aesthetics i tend to just have a color palette in mind when making things and a general feel on what i’m doing but the layout will just be aspects of my personality more than a solid aesthetic(which i prefer aesthetics over specific personal interests or details but thats cuz sometimes i like being mysterious). i’m also keeping my expectations realistic(ly low) and doing basic stuff for the layout (probably no falling animations or a page intro or stuff like that that seems very hard to do and i’m very VERY new to coding), since it’s going to be my first it’ll be a lot of lessons learned and probably not everything will work but that will motivate me to try making another one!!

it probably won’t be done anytime soon i tend to take my time with things (and i frequent like to lay on the couch and rot), but when it is i might post it in layouts or wht for peoples opinions and advice.

anywaysss hope everyone is having a good morning/evening/night/eclipse/twilight/new moon or whatever it is where you are. its almost 8 am where i am so i’m gonna start my day with some moistcr1tickal and a big cup of water
