Villainous Rant!

Salutations and welcome to my first blog! If you are reading this, that means you are interested in this rant, so grab some popcorn and take a seat! I will be discussing two things today, my theories and the fandom! 

One of my biggest theories is that Dr. Flugslys was or still is stronger than Blackhat in some way. It is clear that Flug was some sort of major villain at one point, being the arch nemesis of Goldheart himself. From my perspective, I think something must have happened during the institute, leading to him either becoming powerful or simply making Goldheart hate him. It is known that Flug despises Goldheart, but little is known about what Goldheart thinks of Flug. (enemies to lovers??/joke) We are also let in during a livestream that Flug possibly had a spouse, who is deceased. Maybe Goldheart killed said spouse and made Flug angry, making him seek revenge? It is a very possible theory, but it's hard to explain without going into full Matpat mode! 

Lastly, I'd like to talk about the fandom. In my opinion, the English speaking part of the fandom is pretty dead. I haven't seen that much talk about it since late 2019-early 2020. Though there has been a few times interest has sparked back up (Like when the show was put on HBO max in mid 2023), most people who are interested don't talk about it. I have seen numbers dwindle from community groups and such. What I don't like about both parts of the fandom is the amount of PaperHat shipping. This could and probably will go on another blog/rant, but I believe that Paperhat genuinely sucks as a ship. It is extremely toxic as Blackhat tortures Flug mentally and physically, making it weird to ship. I've always hated the enemies to lovers trope, it just doesn't sit right with me, but that's for another day!
