How to break in Doc Martens?

I doubt this will get any replies. But I need help with breaking in mine. They're relatively new and i've only worn them a handful of times and the last time i did I got a blister. Apparently you can break them in if you wear them around your house, but i'm wondering if there's a quicker way since i think im going back to school soon.
