I haven't had much time to decide what to start my blogs with, to be honest this is the first time I'm going to write something and I feel like it's a good choice to start with this topic

My name is Ivonne, I am 22 years old and I am a non-binary person. I use masculine pronouns and this is was my first year going to the trans awareness march of my city. ＼(٥⁀▽⁀ )／

The truth is, at first I felt very afraid, throughout the journey to the place where we would get all together I felt that it was a bad idea and that it would be better to just go back home and simply watch stories of other trans people, but once I was among the people, in my community I felt a lot of confidence on myself. (9・_・;)9

Seeing friends there gave me the confidence and strength to start walking, I felt that their presence made me feel safe and like it was my right to walk, hearing the voices of other people like me, screaming for our safety, for our rights made me feel like it was my place to be there, to enjou the little steps i've taken to enjoy my existence. (´• ω •`)ﾉ

At the end of the day it's these small acts that make me feel like I can take my identity and really feel it. ヾ(・ω・`)ノヾ(´・ω・)ノ゛
