I'm surprised there weren't more open-source alternatives to software like Medal and Streamable. I did find one called Clipface, and it seems pretty solid.. although it doesn't have Uploads (from what I could find).
What Is Berryvine?
Berryvine is a self-hostable media sharing website powered by Bun, Elysia, and SQLite in the back, and Handlebars in the front. It is written in Typescript with love. :3

hey, quick question, is it safe to just let people know my ip if i port foward stuff? like, i know about the bots and stuff i just want to know how dangerous just giving my ip away could be
yeah uh I mean I do it, I guess just be careful about what you host. I know metasearch engines (searx 4get etc) and stuff like Invidious are kinda prone to bots and stuff. The main thing I host that I actually use tho is a matrix instance which isn't a very big target for bots because it's an e2ee chat server

dumb question but can you use it to send it to other people online, i've never port fowarded before sooooooo
yeah in the main page theres a "file link" link under each clip which you can copy and send to others (it's basically just a video server with a nice interface so ya)
