Poem Love Delusion

despairingly chased.Whom I used to love, I now hate, the person I wished to be with.

As the words slid out of their lips, I knew my heart was torn into pieces.

All the time we spent together, goes to waste. The last chance, that I so

despairingly chased.

Was it my fault? We were meant to be together.

The realization hit me like cold weather.

To go after them, I tried. They hated me, at least that's what they implied.

But that, I denied.

Was it just a lie the whole time, was I going after an illusion? All I felt in that moment was confusion

, was all that happened just my delusion?

Blindness follows after disappointment, yet I wander infinitely in bleariness,

for my never-ending dream lasts an eternity.

To die for them would be an honor,

to live for them would be a greater one, for I would travel the universe just

to get them to look at me.
