About Me:
Hello and welcome to my whimsical blog! My name is Mushroom_Tay, I was born in 2005 and my pronouns are She/Her. I would describe myself as an explorer of all places weird and whimsical. From deep overgrown forests filled with life to urban decay buildings left to rot and wither away. No matter where ever i find myself, i know there is something to study, explore and document.
My Interests:
- Drawing/art- I love making fanart for whatever fandoms I am currently in.
- Gardening- I am a huge gardener, I basically live outside in my garden. I grow fruit, vegetables, and flowers.
- Studying Biology- I LOVE BIOLOGY!!! Especially botany.
- Creative Writing- Although i may not be very good at writing i am improving and i love expressing my experiences, thoughts, and feelings through writing. feel free to make suggestions and constructive criticism.
- Reading- My favorite genres are Fiction, Novels, Sci-fi, Horror, Fairytales, short stories, and biographies.
- Gaming- I recently got my first gaming set up so put me onto some games! My favorite game are Portal 1 & 2, Gmod, Viscera Clean up Detail, Ponytown, The Long Dark, Minecraft, Inscryption, The Hex, Pony Island, Umineko, SCP, Pocket Mirror & Little Goody Two Shoes.
- Listening to music- I listen to MANY genres of music! I am always welcome to song recommendations!
- Foraging for wild edibles- Goes along with hiking, I look for mushrooms and wild greens to eat.
- Hiking- I mostly hike in forested areas along side streams or rivers, but i also go for walks along the shoreline looking for shells.
- Exploring abandoned places- Abandoned factories, houses, and railroads are my favorite.
- Looking for bugs- Pretty self explanatory, i look for bugs and observe them.
- Baking- I love baking and I'm pretty damn good at it too lol. I bake cakes, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, and scones. Currently learning how to bake sourdough bread.
- Learning How to Cook- Unlike baking i am terrible at cooking! I'm in the process of learning, would appreciate easy recipes.
What I Plan To Do Here:
The #1 reason why I joined this site is to look for friends with similar interests and to express myself! So don't be afraid to interact, it'll really make my day! I also plan to share some my writing and art. I may occasionally rant about topic too.
