- racing (not doing it. watching it)
how else does one 'get into' cars? ("well usually, you open the door first...") first steps?

yea! a good place to start is to talk with some friends about the kinds of cars you already know you like, and why you like em. not in the sense that you have to justify what you like but more like,,,, its jsuit really fun to spend time talking with friends about shit you like YAKNOW!!!!!
after that, you could also talk with them about what you'd like to do with those cars you like / with cars you own. this steps kinda presupposes thje idea that your friends are also car fans but like. i believe in you, u got this
