I've been having really unsettling dreams as of recently

SO.. lemme start from the beginning. I was sitting at home, I can't really remember if my mom was asleep in the bedroom w the door locked. Anyways, I was sitting on the couch w my phone and laptop on, it was very dark outside bc it was like, 2:00 am. Then I got some weird sense that something was wrong. My upstairs neighbor knocked on my door w her friend (I literally have no idea who this person was in my dreams, they were some rando) and they moved in unison. They both told me that there was a killer lose in the building. The hallway light was a bit weird too because the only thing illuminating it was the exit signs. They ran up the stairs (BTW, js to clarify I live in an apartment building) and I didn't really take it seriously. I forgot to lock the bottom but locked the top and went back to finishing my essay. Shortly, some random man (yet another face I've never seen in my life) barged into my house. I started to scream but no sound came out. It sounded like I was underwater. I fought him of and stabbed him in the arm before running out. I woke up shortly after. Anyone have any idea what this means??
