TRIVIA
Alakazam was the only mega evolving pokemon who was given a less than 100 Base Stat Total increase! This was fixed though, making it the only pokemon who had more than one base stat change since generation two, having been given an additional ten points to it's BST in X and Y in addition to the BST fix for the mega evolution.
