Growing up we had Rottweilers, protective and fantastic dogs if raised right.
Years later when I moved with friends, they have 3 cats I've come to love.

And this is Stush! He sadly ran away when we moved house in September 2020.
I miss him so much man. Funny how you can get so close to an animal friend.

Pets are just too awesome! I don't have any cats. However, I have had a stray black cat adopt my porch, usually around Halloween. Of course, if it looks like it's struggling, I'm not going to let it suffer. lol
When it passes, another one comes along.This has happened 4 times over the past 15yrs. Kinda strange. I do have a dog, a mini-Aussie Shepherd

Cats are pretty low maintenance. You just let them walk around and poop outside lol. I've not spent a Halloween in the States yet. You guys do everything bigger than us in the UK. Especially St Patricks day. I've been in Ireland and the US for that, you did it way bigger and better haha

In the bigger cities, maybe.lol The small towns/country don't really have much to offer in regards to bug celebrations
