Journal Entry #101: 03/26/24 - March is Almost Finished

Yeah, I couldn't really think of a creative title. It will still be March a week from now. This week was interesting in a few ways.

Last Sunday was St. Patrick's Day, but it was somewhat hard to tell since I didn't see many people wearing green. On Monday, webDev club met again after a long hiatus. I was the only person there, other than the officers. Hopefully, everyone else will show up tomorrow. On Tuesday I met with my advisor to start transitioning into an organizational position. We were supposed to have a general meeting but it was later cancelled. I also met a computer science senior and had a brief chat with him about the major and this website. On Wednesday, someone made off with my sandwich! I hope it was by mistake! If it wasn't I hope it satiated them; times are tough, so I understand somewhat. On Thursday I went to the Spring Fair with some friends; I really enjoyed this spinning swing ride as it reminded me of my elementary school's spring fling. Spring fling had nothing on this. On Friday I mostly just chilled out and scheduled a meeting. 

Yesterday was my father's birthday, and I FaceTimed him to celebrate. I forget that FaceTime is such a great tool, it really felt like I was home for a brief second. I also went to a Holi celebration. It was super fun, but I ended up getting the color powder everywhere, including in my ears. I'm also having a hard time getting it out of my shoes. I ended up taking two showers yesterday. After I cleaned up, I bought groceries and kicked back late in the afternoon with some boba.

I mostly just did some work today and finished rewatching all of Murder Drones. I'm super excited to see episode seven! I have an exam this week, and then next week I have a paper due and three exams (all on the same day!). I will likely spend a lot of time studying this week...

Since April's around the corner, I'm thinking of cleaning up soon to prepare for moving out. My residence hall had an event on Monday, I should've asked about move-out procedures then. I'm just curious, are we all going to move out all at once? I checked my schedule for finals week I don't have any exams on Friday, so there's a chance I could move out early if possible. We'll just have to see, but the semester is slowly coming to a close.
