NO MORE CREDIT !!! [24/03/24]

i was checking my courrier today and i peep that i got a refund of 4 000$ from my university by merit of continuing my post-secondary studies in french as someone whose first language isn't french (si j'étais au courent que ça payait des milles de parler deux langues j'aurais pu apprendre plus qu'un +_+)

the money had already been transferred to my account and i just needed to accept it. of course, not being any the wiser, i totally did (uni is expensive man). i accept it and then go to look at my tax forms because i gotta do taxes, and what do i find ? the university had in fact offered me 4 000$, this is true - 4 000$ in credit -_-

nowhere had they stated that this was money being credited to me - and believe me, i checked every step top and bottom for signs that it was fishy - and i only found this out because of it showing up as a NEGATIVE on my T4A form !! so i still have to pay them 4 000$ with my own money, on top of the interest accrued overtime and transaction fees. 

and people ask me why i'm a marxist, damn. i already have beef with this university for extortion of students through tuition increases and accommodation payments (you have to pay out of pocket for disability accommodations !), and now they're praying on students by not disclosing that they are taking on debt ! 1850s-ass robber baron type usury.
