posting this before i even actually make my layout or do basically anything but wtv
but anyways DNI lists r kinda stupid ((not talking abt the 1s that r just setting boundaries like “18+ accounts/nsfw people please dont friend me, thx!”, but the ones that list things like “pedos DNI/fandom DNI”)). like, i’m not bashing you if you have one, but they don’t really stop nyone from interacting. if you put “pedos dni!” on ur profile, i doubt a pedo is akshully gonna see it n b like “DRATS!!! fOiLeD AgAiN!” and never lay their eyes on ur profile ever again for all eternity. people either don’t care or people lie on the internet, so it rlly isn’t stopping nyone.
ALSOOO another thing relating to this that i mentioned earlier is ppl who put whole fandoms or interests on their DNI lists. liek… “music artist/fandom/any media in general fans DNI!!!” is so??? like i get it, u don’t like a certain music artist or fandom or something. i have certain fandoms and media i dont like too! but telling every fan of said media to gtfo your profile n never interact with u again ((as well as actually expecting them to listen lawlz)) is a TEENSY bit excessive. nd if u rlly just hate people who enjoy that media, might i introduce you to…

I kind of agree with this ngl, I feel like pedos and creeps in general would just be like "Womp womp" and ignore it. But again!! I feel like it's completely fine that they state that they aren't welcome to those people <3
Especially for how young some people are on here I'm proud that they are standing up for themselves on what's right.
I agree the whole interests thing though is really dumb ngl.. people just like different things and that's fine
or those people who are extremely butthurt about "posers".

i agree with u completely lol, i probably coulda worded it better saying that simply having a dni list and setting some sort of rules(?) before interacting/friending is good if it’s stuff that actually effects u n makes u uncomfortable! ^_^
