Cat Soup (Nekojiru)

I'm glad i watched cat soup.
im a huge fan of non-conventional film and animation and also i love cats so it was an obligatory watch for me lol

i watched it with a friend over a discord call two nights ago and i cant stop thinking about it and the absurd visuals

overall it was a sad movie, but somewhat hopeful as shown in Nyata's perseverance to save his sister

the version of it i found had no subtitles, not that there is any spoken words in the film BUT the characters do speak in drawn speech bubbles and me and my friend had to use our VERY limited Japanese knowledge to work it out. we figured out most of it because a lot of it was just one word at a time but it took a while lol

i might research a bit more into it when i have the time

 i will continue thinking about it for a while.. nyata beloved
