7am ramblings 🫡

one of the reasons why i loved my old apartment (it was like a courtyard situation) is bc there was sm small-town-esq stuff around. like directly in in the back, there were these non-operational train tracks that haven’t ran since my family and i moved in MANY years ago and i used to walk them coming home from hs 💀 and there were ALWAYS deer there, like always. i don’t think i’ve ever been closer to a deer family since. there was the occasional possum, a lot of bunnies, really brave squirrels that i befriended cuz i luv squirrels, cats that would give birth in the crawl space underneath the building, beavers (which i just learned are rodents ??)—one time there was even a turkey that strolled by. i just remembered, one time my brother got sprayed by a skunk while trying to get the mail 😭

it was such a cutesy place to grow up in, and since we all shared a common outdoor space, it was sm fun too :) likeee idk i actually think i might even retire there if it’s still the same. 

it’s like 7am and i was just thinking abt this lmao i’m feeling really sentimental for no reason rn
