I've been absent from all my socials for a while. The end of 2023/beginning of 2024 was pretty rough but I was trying keep focused on ahead and not let my anxiety get the better of me. I had some health issues and had to go in for a procedure on Tuesday. Pathology came back clear! So I'm very happy about that, especially since it means no additional surgeries. 

I have the opportunity coming up, hopefully, to switch to a new role professionally. I was a little anxious about that since it's something that is fairly new to me. It's taking a while but I am staying optimistic about it. 

I would like to focus on getting my feet under me the rest of this year and work more on my little comic I started. I'm a bit shy about sharing my work in progress, and more so, concerned that I will share too much and then never finish it! I definitely have the habit of starting a 100 things and finishing very few. I'll see where going slow with this takes me!

One thing, as an artist nowadays, is trying not to see everything you do as potential income. I think doing that and trying to handle social media has led to me having some serious burnout. So the fact that I can make something and not HAVE to show anyone, or promise anything, has been very nice.
