Lil band rant bc they've come so far

So like- I went back and listened to my favorite band, Citizen Soldier from the very beginning. Their Caroline EP up to their new, mid-release album Icarus. This band has come so far in their 8 years of being together that I'm literally fighting tears. 

The frontman, Jake Segura penned their debut song Let It Burn within the walls of a psyche ward. Now, aside working with his band, he's a practicing therapist. 

Yall this man has saved my life without even knowing me. His band's music is so powerful and relatable that it's actually insane. Some of the mental health topics they touch on, and the feelings conveyed are spot on. 

It makes me so happy to see how far they've come. And with this new album, I know it's going to put me in tears with the level of emotion, and how far they continue to grow. I love them so much, and I will never stop supporting them.
