Self haircut

Ive been skipping going to the barber shop the last couple of days bc of the stupid 15$ price that for some reason a simple hair cut is worth. So ive been thinking about doing it myself. Today i wen ahead and searche for my hair clipper but i couldn't find any of my attachments and honestly, i dont want to end up looking like a total mess.

any tips on how should i cut my own hair, never done something like it before

I've been cutting my hair for years. There's a lot of good tutorials online thanks to the lockdown. I would recommend getting some hairclippees and have 2 mirror that you can stand inbetween (having a wall mounted mirror and a handmirror works). Spend a lot of time touching your head, after a while of cutting your hair you start doing it by feel as much as by sight
