Should I find an alternative to Instagram

I post all my art on instagram (follow me at @truxiferous.art if you want to see it, I drew my pfp, and I draw random little creatures and things I think of, although my posting is all over the place cause of other commitments)  

But a) I miss having a bit of a community on places like deviantart and amino (I was definitely too young to be in places like that, but it helped my art to be posting a lot back then)

b) instagram is toxic af (people and platform itself, especially with the AI era, also why I won’t go back to deviantart and amino)

c) I have no reach on there without gaming the system and hitting the right trends and hashtags and that feels like bullshit bc when I was younger I could just make things I liked, tag them with the bare minimum, and other people who like the same stuff would come along

and while I don’t want to become some big famous artist (even if I thought it was possible, mostly bc of pressure, and I’d like a close knit community if that was in my control) I would like to have some sort of visibility, like I’d like to do commissions and make content people see

I don’t know what sites people use anymore though that aren’t just terrible, and I don’t know how to navigate algorithms, and even on the commissions point, I have no idea how to receive money for art without possibly compromising myself/my bank account (T-T) (they tell you how to not give out any details of anything ever online, but never how to give out info safely lol) that last part I don’t have to worry about as much cause no one’s asking, and eventually I’ll be 18 so PayPal is an option, just heard horror stories

If anyone has non toxic sites for posting art that gets seen that they recommend, or even just wants to talk about art please let me know, I’m bored, I’ll take any excuse to talk to new people
