great film. had me howling, especially that scene where the nanny yells 'SHE GRABBED MY HAIRY BUSINESS!'. legitimately brought me to tears. amazing cinematography too. dafoe gave a legendary performance as always.
it did get very gratuitous towards the end, like, i know its an art film but (the numerous graphic sex scenes) just didnt feel necessary.
also wheres that tumblr post thats like 'woman in an avant-garde film directed by a man: *is pissing*'
once youve noticed it, you cant unnotice it, ALL of them have it. all of them. there is ALWAYS atleast one scene of a woman taking a piss. aaaaaall of them. do all these directors share the same fetish or something? is there some kind of occult symbolism to it? fucked if i know.
also why the FUCK is it on disney+ lmaooooooooooo.
do they not know their audience? i can picture it being on netflix cus theyre known for having a lot of weird arty a24-type films but.... disney?
the fucking walt disney company?
the mickey mouse and lilo and stitch company bought the rights to a film about a grown woman with a childs brain learning to masturbate and then becoming a prostitute.
thats fucking hilarious. and its actually hilarious (but slightly annoying) that normies are gonna be watching this and talking about it, like omfg nooo its not meant for yooooouuuuu, go watch your dumb superhero movies or something. i dont even want to think about the disc horse this will generate.
but im just laughing at the thought of walt disney rolling around in his grave rn. if you could show him what would become of his empire in the year of our lord 2024 he would legitimately dissolve his company on the spot, right then and there.
i mean, he once fired a whole team of animators on the spot for making a short gag cartoon of micky and minnie getting it on.
