(don't) watch Perfect Blue

i think many people in the anime community will be familiar with the movie Perfect Blue by Satoshi Kon. or there is a possibility you know the live-action movie Black Swan, which is very similar to Perfect Blue. even though the film looks innocent and cute, i would like to point out that it's a psychological horror film that is not intended for people under the age of 18. if you like psychological horror like i do, this is the right movie for you. the plot is beautifully developed, constantly escalating until the end and is perfectly handling the loss of contact with reality. it also depicts the problematic role of pop idols in a consumerist society. sometimes it gives a surreal impression without any meaning. Perfect Blue is both physically and emotionally violent movie. more sensitive people would not be able to tolerate a large number of unpleasant scenes. due to the fact that we are in a 90s anime, the animation is not very attractive, but maybe that's why the animation gives the movie the right atmosphere (i personally love 90s anime). of course i don't want to spread spoilers, it's up to you, if you want to see Perfect Blue. if you have seen it, i would appreciate your opinion.
