el paso trilogy

marty robbins' el paso trilogy is soooooo good. im not super into country stuff, but i find it silly when people have some massive hatred for the genre. i feel like a lot of people don't really appreciate things for what they are, either they like something or hate it, and i personally find that a little dumb. and yeah, a lot of it isn't my favorite to listen to, mainly talking about certain pop country and like rap country(?), but a lot of it is good, it tells a story. i find it extremely cool and beautiful, and marty robbins is one of my favorite examples of story telling through country songs. his el paso trilogy is beautifully sad, and i just find it super cool. ever couple of months i get an urge to listen to country and marty robbins and johnny cash do it every time. i know those guys are pretty big and like some of the more popular guys, but im not super into the genre. if anyone has any suggestions pls send, would love to hear some :3
