About Me!!!

Hi guys!!!

I'm Dexter and I go by he.

I'm moving my social media presence here because I deleted twitter and tiktok for my sanity. I really love posting about things that are going on in my life, so this blog will become like my public diary :) I might also post some more informational ramblings about stuff but we'll see!


Some basic things about me!

I really love science. Right now, I'm working on my bachelor's degree in biology, specializing in microbiology and cell development. I love learning about immunology, disease, and anything medical. I'm also working on some research involving hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria. (That's the bacteria that cleans up oil spills!)

I'm an artist! I did a fuckton of digital art as a kid, and I still work on digital pieces from time to time. I'm a sculptor and I do freelance work for friends/acquaintances that have cool project ideas. I sculpt a lot of cute characters, but I really love working on more detailed pieces too, especially ones that involve human anatomy and angel/devil wings.

I love fashion and I make a lot of my own accessories and jewelry. I make some of my own clothes too, but it's very time consuming and I'm impatient. I have very small hands and feet (I wear children's shoes and they do not typically make rings in my size) so I have to make do with what I got sometimes. My favorite clothing store at the moment is AKIRA. I don't have a specific aesthetic, but I tend to go for a darker celestial vibe.

I have a lot of friends! Not in a bragging way, but I love all my friends very much and I'm happy that I have so many people who love and support me. My friend groups are all very different from one another and I feel very grateful to always be surrounded by so many life experiences.

I have two dogs- a sassy Doberman named Zoey/Zoë, and a very large, happy Belgian Malinois named Bruno. They live with my mom, so I only get to see them a couple times a year (I miss them very much). I don't usually get super excited about dogs/cats, but I have a huuuge soft spot for Dobermans.

Random Fun Facts:

- I dropped out of beauty school after a year

- I have clubbed/short thumbs (and middle fingers... still unsure what that's about)

- All of my immediate relatives were born in May, but I was born in November

- I'm mildly allergic to raw fruits and vegetables

- I have tics (not tourettes, but its cousin: unspecified tic disorder), and my tics are usually
meowing or saying "purple man", like the chat pile song about grimace smoking weed
