On a lo(v/n)ely, winding, drive home from an outing today, nature caught my .. well everything.
A short sleeve tee and the light wind around me made for the utmost perfect weather, I can't remember the last time I was so comfortable in myself. Melting slowly like sleepy candle wax if, well, candles got sleepy. 63 degrees (F) is the most peaceful temperature as it turns out, I am not a 70s or higher guy.
While driving the music was at the right volume, now normally I am a punkrocker in the car, but not today. Today I enjoyed the blissful 8 or 9 notches of my radio dial. Many songs played, but the one that stuck was "Nothing Matters" by the last dinner party, boy did it feel right in the moment.
We're at this not-quite-winter-anymore-but-also-don't-you-dare-say-it's-spring time of year, where it's bright and sunny a good sum of the time, but the sun still sets nice and early. This made the drive easy on the eyes, the road nice and cool toned gray, but the most stunning sight of all was dancing on the trees, an intimate sunset painted on the leaves. And peaking behind every other turn, was the mountain covered in a nice coat of snow, sparkling like diamonds.
A certain tree also lined a couple streets, plum blossoms (which most people think are cherry blossoms, but those bloom slightly later this month), this tree can't help but remind me of a certain day many months ago, where I gave my heart to a nice fellow you all probably know.
