davinci resolve editing software :) any tips & tricks?

helllloooo, i just started using the free davinci resolve (on mac) today for a video project im working on. wondering if there was any1 out there who has any experience with the software and could give me some lovely tips and tricks as it is deceivingly not as intuitive as it makes itself out to be ☼.☼ experince and video tuts are always best when working w these programs, but j thought id pop on here and ask anyways.
