Creo que fácilmente podría escribir una tesis del por qué Hannibal es de las mejores series de la historia.

No basta con verla 1 sola vez; mientras más veces la vez, más te das cuenta de nuevos detalles que habías omitido. Si la perfección existiera, Hannibal sería la encarnación de ésta. Su magnífica estética, la complejidad de sus diálogos (enriquecidos con metáforas y un vasto vocabulario), los vestuarios, los escenarios, la narrativa, y lo más importante: sus personajes.

Jamás en la vida había visto una relación tan compleja, retorcida y profunda como la de Will Graham Y Hannibal Lecter; y honestamente pienso que otra serie o película nunca podrán replicar lo que Hannibal como serie ha logrado hacer.

La serie logra capturar impecablemente y de una forma tan vulnerable y desnuda la intimidad, el amor(retorcido), la dependencia y obsesión entre Will y Hannibal sin hacer uso del contacto físico o de un beso (de hecho es por esto que varias personas desacreditan la relación confirmada entre ellos dos). Pienso que nosotros como sociedad estamos tan acostumbrados a ver una confirmación de una conexión romántica entre dos personajes solo si hay un beso o contacto físico de por medio y Hannibal te hace revaluar tu concepto de cómo luce el amor romántico en la televisión. 

Cabe mencionar que la relación entre Will y Hannibal obviamente no es para nada sana, por lo que yo no consideraría a Hannibal como una representación LGBTQ+ sana ni correcta, más si es una representación compleja y de esas series que no son tan obvias con ella.

I believe I could easily write a thesis on why Hannibal is one of the greatest series in history. Watching it just once isn't enough; the more times you watch it, the more you notice new details you had overlooked. If perfection existed, Hannibal would be its embodiment. Its magnificent aesthetics, the complexity of its dialogues (enriched with metaphors and an extensive vocabulary), the costumes, the settings, the narrative, and most importantly: its characters.

Never in my life had I seen such a complex, twisted, and profound relationship as the one between Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter; and honestly, I don't think any other series or movie will ever replicate what Hannibal as a series has achieved.

The series impeccably captures in such a vulnerable and naked way, the intimacy, love, dependence, and obsession between Will and Hannibal without resorting to physical contact or a kiss (in fact, this is why several people discredit the confirmed relationship between them). I think we as a society are so accustomed to seeing confirmation of a romantic connection between two characters only if there is a kiss or physical contact involved, and Hannibal makes you reconsider your concept of what romantic love looks like on television.

It should be noted that the relationship between Will and Hannibal is obviously not healthy at all, so I wouldn't consider Hannibal to be a healthy or accurate LGBTQ+ representation. However, it is a complex representation and one of those series that are not so obvious about it.
