Boots on the ground. Getting settled in.

I've been on a Nostalgia binge recently. I modded my Windows 10 Install to look, sound, and function like Windows 7 which was my dream OS when I was a kid. By the time I got my first personal laptop, It came with Windows 8 (Yuck!). I didn't know how to create a media creation tool with a USB so I was pretty upset to see my beautiful Aero Glass theme was gone and my beloved Start Menu replaced with a flat, ugly, unorganized, glorified Xbox 360 home screen. But at least it came with a dedicated Low-end GPU, so I can play Minecraft at low settings with my friends over the internet. I recently watched a video from someone about limitations of early web design and social media when they mentioned Spacehey, I forget what video it was but I was pretty excited to see a niche reboot of the old MySpace which was something I didn't have when I was kid. So far I enjoy it, but I'm really having a hard time trying figure out the HTML and CSS stuff. I really should've payed attention in Computer Science class...I also fear that knowing how to code to customize user profiles will alienate audiences. But I guess if this place reached a wider audience it would eliminate it's nicheness. It's odd when you think about it. Either way, I'm enjoying this place, it takes me back to my middle school years. -Revenant-6
