okay so, one of my favourite things to talk about, is metal! i love metal, (woah what a shocker am i right) because it makes me happy, and really gets me. i feel like there's comfort i seek, and i find said comfort in the harsh, raw, emotion-driven sound of depressive suicidal black metal. i also, really like nu-metal!! i like the funk, the groove, the rap, the beat, the tempo changing every second, i love nu metal!! nu metal and hip-hop are closely related, and i grew up on hip hop, so there's probably another reason as to why im so interested in nu metal. i don't really know why i like black metal; i kinda got this random interest in it one day and never looked back! i love goth rock/ literally just christian death and type o negative/goth metal too, it's so cool to listen to and to learn how to play!! the first black metal i ever got into was mayhem, and my first black metal song was definitely chainsaw gutsfuck. i also got into slam/goregrind/pornogrind/gurgling noises with weird titles, around the same time (which is why my metal playlist is so full of slam)!!! i remember starting to learn how to play guitar back in 2022, in feb-april, playing nirvana and pearl jam covers for my family and friends. yes, everyone, i had a grunge phase back then. but it was never really a phase; it never went away. 90s-00s grunge will always have a special place in my heart. whenever i hear any song off of nirvana's 'nevermind', it brings me back to those days, where the only thing i wore was my red oversized flannel and my dad's old band t-shirts that he got at shows when he was a young guy. oh yeah, did i mention, my dad IS AWESOME!!!! dad haters DO NOT INTERACT!!! /hj
