I went to the mall today and it was very fun! There was a sale at Bath and Bodyworks on wallflowers and I really wanted to get more scents so I did. I also got some perfume and lotion. I was going to get more lipgloss from there too since I really like their lipgloss, but it has MASSIVELY shot up in price.
So here's what I wore, it was very comfortable and I didn't overheat in this despite it being a sweater. My shoulders being out helped a lot.
I brought along my My Melody Ita bag but its still a work in progress I need WAY more pins and buttons for it lol. I managed to get myself a My Melody bag holder (it's a small little my melody charm that holds an ENTIRE messenger bag inside of it, so now I have an extra bag for my bag <3) As well as a My Melody water bottle. Even though My Melody is my favorite sanrio character obviously, I wasn't able to find a lot of stuff for her in the store </3 It seems everything had either been brought out already or she just isn't being sold at the moment.
Anyways, here's what I brought all together! I also got a lot of snacks from the Miniso store and I have to say they were tasty. I really liked the lychee soda I brought, I've never had Lychee soda before today and it is def a really good flavor, so I'll be getting it again if I ever shop at the miniso again.
After I brought cute things, I was starving (i planned this mini shopping trip with my mom last minute lmao I was literally still sleeping when she called me and was like "wanna go to the mall today??") and we went to Longhorn Steakhouse. Everything was DELICIOUS but I couldn't eat it all and there's still an entire plate left for me. I think I will just save it for tomorrow because they gave us so much food T_T. I had stuffed mushrooms with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs, a great salisbury steak with onion and mushroom, 4 cheese macoroni that had little bacon bits in it, and french fries. I am NOT going to be eating all of this lol. I gave some of it to my mom and dad to help lessen the amount. They really liked the mac and cheese, it was very tasty.
After we ate my mom wanted to check out this new grocery store that opened near us and so we all just decided to head in to see, but a storm started brewing outside and literally knocked the power out in the entire place! We were stranded, and none of the checkout lines worked. My parents had already decided the "lets just take a look inside" visit was going to be a "grocery stop" visit and had a full basket of groceries. But because none of the checkout computers worked, the workers eventually told everyone they were closing early.
The workers were handing out free cookies and water to people standing in line and I heard one lady had been waiting for 2 whole hours! It sucks because nobody got groceries and I suppose everyone will have to wait till tomorrow to get their bread and eggs and veggies.
Beside the whole grocery store fiasco, today was a great day! 10/10 would shop at Miniso again.
