Colossians 1:27b (3/15/24)

Started reading Colossians yesterday (or maybe 2 days ago?) because I was intrigued by the front page of it on my study Bible so I started to read it in full today and I was really captivated by this verse.

Colossians 1:27b NLT "And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

I was really trying recently to figure out how I can "do things for God's glory" from 1 Corinthians 10:31 ("whatever you do, do it for the glory of God", etc.) and I could never wrap my head around how I could do it 'properly' but this verse really cleared it up for me. Jesus works in me and through me, so whatever I do I do it through Him because He is in us, as we are in Christ. The pure thought and freedom in that we are one in Christ and that He is in us as we are in Him - the very Son of the creator of us, and that through Him and we to know the Father, is just purely life changing and demonstrating that He is working in us through our actions to see the supply of how much He loves us, that He wants to work in US, his own fallen creation - for His good, is so incredible. Thought that was really interesting and I wanted to share. I should start writing this stuff down more but I never get around to. 

Not sure if this place has a big Christian community in it but I would love to fellowship with others 🙃
