PJ y Josie son mejores amigas y tienen 2 cosas en común: son las perdedoras de su escuela y están desesperadas por conseguir a una chica. Con el objetivo de conquistar a sus respectivos crushes y aprender a defenderse de los chicos de otras escuelas, fundan un club de pelea, donde conocerán y conectarán con otras chicas y con suerte, lograrán quedarse con ellas.

PJ and Josie are best friends and have 2 things in common: they are the losers of their school and are desperate to get a girlfriend. With the aim of conquering their respective crushes and learning to defend themselves against boys from other schools, they create a fight club, where they will meet and connect with other girls and hopefully, succeed in getting one.
Bottoms me parece una película única, ya que jamás habían hecho una película con el argumento principal de un fight club hecho por lesbianas; simplemente absurda pero con personajes con los que puedes fácilmente conectar si eres una persona queer. Bottoms es un tesoro y una propuesta fresca y muy divertida. La única razón por las que le doy 4 estrellas es porque sentí que a veces me perdía en la narrativa y es un humor muy específico, por lo que pienso que es un poco difícil de agarrarle el gusto.

Bottoms seems to me like a unique movie, as they had never made a film with the main plot of a fight club made by lesbians; simply absurd but with characters with whom you can easily connect if you are a queer person. Bottoms is a treasure and a fresh and very fun proposal. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I felt like I sometimes got lost in the narrative and it has a very specific humour, so I think that it is a little difficult to warm up to it.
