One of those days

So... for the last 2 months at work (Im a video game developer) I have been been working with my co workers and coding along for a build that turns out only works on windows... rather then being universal... after some consideration, we came down too two options, release only on Windows and keep going (Which is not ideal since many people use linux, mac etc..) Or start over coding on a universal build... needless to say, I love my co workers since we all got through the first day of this together with a fun laugh... and none of us managed to throw our computers out the window :D

I hope everyone had a better day then me haha!

It might not be so bad. What percent of gamers are on those other platforms?

Plus, Linux users seem to be really adept at fudging things and getting things to work. It might work out for your game in the end.

Do you work for a big company? I've wrote a couple of really bad games in the distant past (in VB 6, it was that long ago) and wrote an iPhone app in 2011. Thinking of trying my hand at another simple one with the help of chatGPT.

We ended up swapping over to the HTML Build so it can be used by all OS users, We had to rewrite the server in python but it ended up working out, made the back end far stronger then it was before!

Its a small start up company! It would be my first actual release of a project, I just do small simple things that I use personally and dont really release, Im a self taught programmer, but going to school now online for my bachelors in Computer Science to try to make a full time career of it rather then a hobby startup company.
