Germany

In 2019 when i travelled to Germany with my family during the winter break specifically in Frankfurt and during that time period we stayed at a hotel near a small town, one day my family asked me to get some rice since we ran out. While returning on the way i saw a old man with a really thick white beard who seemed to talk to himself outside a bar and i thought “oh sick it’s probably some lonely old guy let me go try and strike a conversation with him” so i walk to him and try strike up a convo and he immediately looks at me say “Guten tag!” in the most happiest tone and then he switched to english after he realized  im not a local so while talking i found out that he used to a Guard at the berlin wall during the 70s. Overall he was a really cool guy( ^ω^ )
