So... where do I start ?
Today I arrived extremely late at the French course, and I'm really glad I missed half of it.
I already knew that this f****** course is just... well. Just imagine a pub with some arsehole boomers saying out loud their dumb ideas, you'll pretty much have a representation of what this course is ; with the teacher in the lead.
But today, the denial of basic modern society problems and of flaws in our education system (that guy is a fan of outdated school systems) that this course is went too far. Him and two students were having a conversation in the front of the class during the break which I, considering my past, could hear like this :
"If I failed high school back in the days, it's entirely my fault and I deserved it". And that's almost a quote. They were talking about students who doesn't succeed or struggle to follow the courses, and were basically considering them as failures.

I'm not even talking about the fact this guy doesn't know most of the subjects he's trying to talk about (and when he's talking about one that I know, like things related to medias or technology, that's clearly embarassing).

psh yeah they seem a bit weird. i didn't exactly fail high school but i left to do online learning because of how bad my high school was. i don't think i've actually learnt something from high school since grade 6 XP

At some point yesterday he was talking with a student (who's not a boomer, but definitely feels like an entitled boomer sometimes xD) about the American Dream being still alive or something ; which just made me think "Oh come on just go to the US check by yourself if that's true, at least that'll give me a break of your bullshits for the next weeks"

in some cases there would be people in class just slacking off, not doing anything. i understand that there are people who were drained out from personal issues at home and still had to attend school. however there would be people who would come to school with NO backpack just a borrowed paper from their teacher and a pencil just to hang around the school with their friends.

Actually that's how some close-minded people could have seen me at high school. At some point I was going to school just because I had friends there and not much for the courses. Mentally I already had gave up because of exhaustion.
The choice to continue going at school anyway was simply a way to not turn insane. 🤷🏻♀️
I was barely following the courses because it became impossible for me, even with the (lot of) help I had there to do so (bc I'm autistic).
But just because someone struggle to follow the courses doesn't mean he's dumb or anything. The problem of the French education system (and it's faaar from being the worst one) is that it admits only one kind of intelligence, unlike in some other European countries.
No one, especially at high school, goes there like "Oh, I'm so happy that I'll never get my diploma :D"
