earlier i remembered that cats cant taste sweet food and im literally flabbergasted
imagine youre a cat and you have a friend group of woodland creatures like, foxes, squirrels, bears,, alligators idk (pretend that animal is a woodland one) and theyre all sharnig a yummie platter of berries and youre a cat so you cant taste it :(
cats are one of the few mammals not to have sweet taste buds
who is nature to deny a cat the sweetness of yummie snacks...

i remember my dad saying when he had cats with my mum he made a super super hot curry that he couldnt eat. So he just gave it to their cat Tinker and she was like inhaling it she loved it.
TLDR: cats do not have capsicun receptors
