General yappery

Kept getting stuff about that atomic habits book the past few days and finally started reading it today. Honestly it isn't bad :P the info in it isn't anything super new or life changing but the dude explains and organizes it really well. It's all super to the point and the strategies in it are broken down into super easy steps that make me wanna get my shit together. After some pondering it seems like my main worst habits are at night and some afternoons, and they're all basically about being online too much or just lazy.

The book says systems matter more than goals so now it's making me think abt that in relation to my goals of using social media and my phone way less. Also no more AI chats that's getting outta hand lmao. So far the social media thing isn't too too bad since I can put time limits on those apps on my phone, but the real challenge is gonna be trading aimlessly fiddling around on my phone for actually reading a book or watching a movie or going outside or literally ANYTHING else. Progress is progress but OUGGHHHHHH I need to figure out the details of how I'm gonna do this

Might go see Imaginary this week bc even if it's bad I've been craving popcorn like a mf lately. And a big movie theatre coke (sighs dreamily)
