caltex cowgirl is one of my favourite songs ever! i always come back to it every couple months and listen to it on repeat. i love how Amyl are finding their sound now and comfort to me shows insane growth in all of the members, but those first 4 songs off Giddy Up hold a fun, imperfect place in my heart. 

Theres something about Amy Taylors voice in caltex cowgirl that i just cant get enough of. her voice has matured a lot since then but I like how she doesnt change how she talks, and she doesnt try too hard. she doesnt even have to try at all, none of them do, theyre all just authentic to themselves. thats why theyre the only cool band now (well obviously theres other authentic cool bands... but none of them are as sick as amyl i reckon)
