Change

I'm not a kid anymore, I'm 19. Life's changing, my priorities, my friend groups, my life in general and everything is moving fast.

Next week my house will be remodelated due to some cracks all over the cealing and the first room to suffer it will be mine's The biggest change this room has face since I got it back when I was 7 was a change of colour and a new air conditioner, and that wasn't much tbh, it remain to be the same room, with the same arragement and furniture, but that will change.

I got a lot of small thing I wanna add to my room and a lot others I wanna throw or give away, I also got a new desk, I'll re-arrange my furniture, my walls colour will change as well as it's decoration. That makes me sad but excited at the same time, this is a big change and I think that this is the perfect time in my life to do it, this year I'll be finishing my 1st year of uni and starting my 2nd year, I also got a job and my life in general it's not the same as it used to so, why would my room stay the same if everything is changing, if I'm changing?

I think about this room makeover as more than that, let me explain:

Changing/moving furniture: it's like changing and re-arranging your priorities,
Keeping old things "hidden": these are all the things in our life that we wanna keep because it brings/brought us joy and made us who we are.
Throwing/giving away things: these are the thing we don't want and/or need in our life anymore, it can be because it hurt us, bring us back to a bad moment in life and, overall is useless for us and/or our wellbeing.
Bringing new things: these are the things we want and/or need in our life because it will make things better for us, it's useful, it brings us joy, etc.

Keep in mind that everytime I said "things" I'm not talking just about objects, I'm also talking about people, habits, thoughts, etc.

Changes are important in life, changes can be scary, exciting, sad, bad or good but everything change so, why would our life stay the same?

Hiiii, this is the end of my first blog. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it look cute and everything, but I'm kinda dumb with this type of things lol. If you see any grammar mistake pls accept my apologies cause English isn't my first language.
