Art Dump - 3/8/24

IMAGE HEAVY!! This is going to be a MASSIVE art dump consisting of stuff from now to all the way back in September of 2023. I'm going in reverse chronological order with this so the newest stuff is at the top. It's also missing a drawing since that's part of an unfinished group of drawings and will be posted together at a later time.

Here's a couple of GIF icons I did this month of characters I have on Toyhouse this month. The first one is my Murder Drones OC, Wave. The second one is a kinsona/AU version of Silver from pokemon.

February 2024

Here we have Pokemon headcanon doodles for Lugia! I'll put my notes below so you guys know what's up with the numbers.

1. Lugia are bipedal, winged dragons nearly compleatly covered in feathers. Small fins or spikes line their backs ranging from 3 two five pairs. The cone shape on the back of their heads provide space for their brains, enabling their incredible psychic abilities. They can sometimes sport stripes, spots, or other patterns in a light blue color.

2. Their beaks can vary quite a bit. Some Lugia have small horn like points on the ends of their beaks. The shapes of the tooth like points is different for each Lugia, sometimes being longer and sharper, while others being shorter and duller. Age isn't a factor on how they look.

3. Lugia eye crests are known to have some variation with their shapes, though they always point behind the pokemon.

4. Various fins and spikes have been observed on Lugia, though they always come in pairs and rarely connect to each other.

5. Rounded, webbed fingers, or a single wing spur can be seen on some Lugia.

6. Rarely, Lugia are spotted with claws on their feet.

7. Though normaly seen with one pair of tail spikes, it's not rare to see Lugia with two or even three pairs of spikes.

8. Young Lugia are solid grey to help them blend in with their darker surroundings, as they're not old enough to fend for themselves yet.

9. Despite their soft look, the feathers on a Lugia hatchling act as a form of defense, breaking into sharp splinters rather easily. These splinters can't pierce the skin of a Lugia.

And here's some more icons I made of characters of mine. The first one is a Christmas themed Flygon named Peppermint. The second one is a snake dragon named String. And the third one is an angel wolf named Sammy.

Next up is a drawing based on an AU of the AU Silver I mentioned above. It's also kind of an experimental piece.

And the first drawing I did for February was a Skydancer dragon for the Draw the Dragon Above you thread on Flight Rising.

This one is actually a redraw of two pretty old drawings of mine where I gave Lugia and Ho-oh type changes. You can see the old drawings on this Tumblr post where I originally posted this drawing too.
