Writing war nowadays is a difficult task, and man, FNV did it perfectly.

You can write war, but it will more likely just turn out flat. The reason for that is... the recent generations dont experienced war, the impact of it. A example of it is Disney/Pixar, nowadays, it just made movies about family(Luca, Encanto, Turning Red), bcuz its relatable!! People LOVE relatable stuff. And war isnt.

but FNV punched that whole thing and writed the whole thing as if it were breathing!!11 OF COURSE, it didnt rubbed in your face, "war is bad! oo!", it made you slowly realize it yourself. 

i absolutly loved FNV... my fav character is Victor, i lofe robot cowboys.,.,,.,
