Of course my mind just had to pick the interest that requires the most money to do want you want.
I have ideas for like 5 computers I want but who would've guess they'd cost a SHITLOAD OF MONEY (Well the first 2 won't but the others certainly will)
I could've picked something else other then tech to be my interest but nooooooooooo my life just had to be changed the day I first used a computer when I was like 5 with my dads laptop

Hey, anything worth something requires a takeaway I suppose.
Recommendation, focusing on older computers and experimenting with Linux Distros.
The Dell XPS M1530 is a nice retro device that is good for practicing with computer components and its relatively easy with upgrading. Older dell towers like the Dimension 3000 are good too, especially for playing older games and server hosting.

The 2 computers I mention are (or well should be) cheap since one is meant for XP and the other Windows 7
The other 3 are modern which are the ones that would destroy a bank account

Ah yes. The realm of tech is like that of a knight earning their armor. The chainmail does not come cheap.
The only advice worthy of offering is searching online sites like Mecari and Vinted, or physical donation stores in the vein of Good-Will for anything tech related to practice repairing.
