Buckle up, its a chain of events.
It all starts one chill evening when im looking up breakcore playlists on youtube, and out of sheer coincidence I came across this one
Finding that particular playlist unleashed a chain of events that would lead me to discover my love for visual novels, online internet communities, content creation, and just generally diversifying my taste for online activities. After looking in the comments of the video someone mentions the name of the character in the background, something about said background was... captivating, its a shame its just a background for a breakcore video- OMG ITS A FULL FLEDGED GAME. I went on to play said game, and due to personal reasons I could relate a lot to the main character, I went on to join the game's discord server, 8 months later I left the server due to some drama and saw spacehey on someone's bio, now that I needed a new internet community to interact with, joining spacehey was the logical choice.
The lesson
Im glad all of this happened, sometimes I wonder - what would I be doing right now if it werent for that chain of events? In the last year I have played over 8 visual novels/story based games, had a lot of fun on an online community... And it scares me to think that if it werent for that breakcore playlist, I would have never found this side of me. In other words: Put yourself out there, go really outside your comfort zone, if you like drawing maybe try using spray paint, or use brushes instead of pencils, maybe even try photography! The worst thing you can do for yourself is idly wait around until new experiences come to you, right now there is an alternate universe version of you who found a passion for something that brings them joy - something you havent found yet.
READ MY BLOGS
Speaaaaking of said visual novels, I do intend on making blogs about visual novels/story based games I have played before and reviewing them, gonna put more emphasis on the obscure ones.

This is something I think about a fair bit. A lot of really good opportunities I've had I either sought out saying "why not?" or by half-mindedly doing/agreeing to things that had a snowball effect. Even if things don't work out, there's no reason to not seek opportunities. I'm fairly pessimistic myself so I often think it'll fall through but more often than not there's a good result.
