“Copy & paste Latina makeup” - Why I hate it!

I’ve thought about this plenty, and so if you don’t know I’m German and Mexican and I currently live in the US. I’ve seen Brooklyn Chipman, all over TikTok being exposed on how she’s really white, and has blue eyes and blonde hair and not black hair and brown eyes which is a stereotype may I add! Because if you go to Mexico or and Latin country, you will see many people with Blonde hair and Blue eyes as well! But my point is that “Latina makeup” isn’t a thing or it shouldn’t because at this point it has become a thing, it’s just a simple full coverage makeup style thats natural with big lashes and mostly a nude lip. I’m half white as well and as a person who doesn’t spend lots of time outside and wears sunscreen everyday I’m pretty pale, so I’ve experienced lots of people tell me I’m not Mexican because of how light my skin is! It’s so frustrating when I don’t look stereotypical and then these white girls want to pretend to be my ethnicity, I will end this by saying it’s not okay to dress up as someone else’s culture in such offensive way, everyone has culture, find out with a DNA test and embrace it, don’t take mine and also try to change your race! We are not costumes!!!
